February 1998 Meeting Minutes
Present: Peggy Perry, Mark Perry, Helene Bethke, Neil Giffey, John Hess
* The February meeting was held on February 11, 1998 at Memorial Hospital of Iowa County in Dodgeville. Our meeting
notice was in the Mineral Point, Spring Green, Dodgevile, and Boscobel newspapers.
* 2 new members this month
* The $25.00 fee for the ICGS web site will be due in February. This is an annual fee. * Certificates:
A discussion about the wording of the certificate titles was had; with Sesquicentennial for the 150 years, Old
Settlers for the 100 years, and Pioneers for the first year founding members of this society. Prices were also
discussed with 15/10/5 and 10/10/5 considered. The higher price would apply for the Sesquicentennial due to the
gold foil lettering was time consuming and expensive to apply.
* Dates were discussed for a Fall Seminar meeting, possibly about old photos and their care. It was mentioned that
we could also try to get a State Historical Society staff person to speak at the seminar.
* Next meeting will be March 18 at 7pm in the Dodgeville City Hall.
