October 1998 Meeting Minutes
Present: Peggy Perry, Mark Perry, Cheryl Lemanski, Neil Giffey, Cheryl Schmidt
* The meeting was held at the Grandview house in Hollandale, WI where we held a potluck after the meeting and toured
the home.
* Treasurer Report - unavailable but believed to have $195.00 in funds
* Secretary's report - motioned by Mark, 2nd by Cheryl L to accept as is
* Officer nominations: Present officers were queried to determine if they wished to remain in office for the new
term in 1999. Peggy P - President - yes, Cheryl L - Vice President - no, Helene B - Secretary/Treasurer - yes by
email notice, Mark P - Newsletter Editor/ Publicity director - yes
* Peggy asked for other nominees and none were received via email, postal mail, or voice. Peggy nominated Cheryl
S for the office of Vice-President. Cheryl S. accepted the nomination.
* Peggy reported that the seminar that ICGS hosted was held with 12 people in attendance - some members, some not.
Considering this was our first attempt at having a seminar, Peggy felt that 12 attendees was a good show of initial
interest. ICGS did make a small profit from holding this seminar, approximately $20.00 after expenses.
* Peggy and Mark will work on getting a voter letter out to everyone along with notice of the internet meeting
details.
* Next meeting to be held via the Internet in a chat room on our friendsnfamily.net domain.
