August 1999 Meeting Minutes
Campfire meeting at Peggy and Mark Perry's home.
Present: Peggy Perry, Mark Perry, Helene Bethke, Cheryl Schmidt, and Eileen Arndt
Minutes and Treasury report approved by Cheryl, 2nd by Peggy
Eileen had brought indexes to a great many cemeteries that she had
finished recording. Rockwell Mills, Griffiths, St Peters & Paul, St
Johns, St Pauls in Mineral Point. She is working on Middlebury.
Probate indexing and the Library projects have taken a summer vacation.
The November minutes amended to show votes recorded in on-line meeting.
5 for President
7 for Vice President
5 for Secretary/Treasurer
8 for Publicity
Votes for admendment of By-Laws
18 votes for Option #1
5 votes for Option #2
Option #1 passes by greater than 2/3 majority.
Looking at spring date for an Evertons Seminar. Perhaps in April after
the 15th. Maybe a school could be used, such as the Cobb School. We need
to check for conflicting dates such as holidays, prom or other seminars.
We plan to have a membership booklet by the end of the year.
