ICGS Meeting Minutes
February 22, 2000

Meeting of Feb 17 was cancelled due to a winter storm. (It was to be February 17, 2000 at Brewery Creek Inn in
Mineral Point. Business of member Jeff D.)
Attending: Peggy P., Mark P., Helene B., Neil G., John H., and Eileen A.
Minutes & Treasury report approved by Neil and 2nd by Mark
Heritage Days will be celebrated October 6, 7 & 8 in Dodgeville. Many activites will be happening that weekend,
a re-inactment encampment of 1812 War, 100th anniversary of the library, Folklore Village will be involved. We
are planning on some mini-workshops, possibly beginning genealogy ,using the internet for genealogical research
or searching the pre-1907 indexes.
Cemeteries:
18 cemeteries have been walked and information from the stones collected. So far we have over 500 pages in our
'book'! Thus, we'll be spliting into several smaller books. Different formats were looked at. Ideas for covers,
chapter headings, introductions, and etc were discusssed.
