ICGS Meeting Summary - November 2000

Treasurer report approved by consensus; October minutes ammended for ratification at next scheduled meeting.

Cemetery: One more cemetery has been completed. The Mifflin Cemetery in Mifflin has been adopted.

Moscow Book Index Project is being worked on.

Still working on arrangements to move our ICGS library into the Dodgeville public library shelf space.

A membership booklet mock-up version was looked at.

The election results were 17 Yes - 1 No for admended Bylaws.
The officers slate as nomination were elected 18/0.

There was a write-in for Vice-President. The nominee was contacted and was to reach a decision by tonight. No response was received from the nominee. Thus the name was withdrawn.

Sept. 27-30, 2001 will be a gathering of Cornish American Heritage Society in Mineral Point. ICGS has been asked if we would be interested in conducting a 'cemetery walk'. Helene will check into finding a contact person in Shake Rag Players theatre group to see if they could
do the acting, if ICGS did the research for the walk. Also a Cemetery workshop on how to plot and record stones in a cemetery was asked to be held. Peggy will check into this.

Our new meeting night will be the 3rd Wednesday of the month starting in January 2001.
