April 2001 Meeting Summary

Place: Dodgeville City Hall
Present: Peggy Perry; Mark Perry; Kathy Stoltz; Cheryl Schmidt; Dawn Phelan.
Discussed a new website - ellisisland.org Check out family that arrived through Ellis Island.
Treasurers Report: Presented with a bar graph. Cheryl motion to accept. Concensus.
Secretary's Report: Lost in cyberspace.
Seminar: Peggy had a brochure on a seminar on English, Irish and Scottish ancestory being held in Long Beach
CA aboard the Queen Mary. Not a bad price.
Library: Peggy checked on the progress. Moving real slow. There is one shelf cleaned off.
Probate Records: Almost all the copies are made. Once completed, then we can shop for the supplies needed
to store, present them because then we'll know how much we'll need such as page protectors. Going to scan each
page and save on A CD for posterity.
Sunshine Committee: Haven't heard from anyone.
FGS is the Federation of Genealogical Societies, FYI and for secretary's info.
Discussed where the next few months meetings will be held.
