Present: Mark and Peggy Perry, Kathy Stoltz, Cheryl Schmidt
of course Ripley was there!
Treasurer's Report: Cost of newsletter discussed. The internet newsletter will cut cost substantially. And
we'll be able to do pictures! Dawn motion to accept. Kathy seconded.
Kathy's looking for receipts.
A genealogy show in Elkhart, Walworth County but everyone was busy this weekend so no representation from Iowa
County.
Funeral Cards: Getting funeral cards from the local funeral homes. Cheryl contacted one of hers, Spring Green.
Dawn mentioned that she's doing a genealogical field trip with her family. We all noticed that we observe cemeteries
different now.
Some discussion on the society doing a field trip, to the State Historical Society.
Moscow Book- Dawn's scanning! Getting closer to done all the time.
Chaos and Stanley came out to check out how the meeting was going. They're Dawn's bunnies, Ripley too. This was
to be a hot tub party. Cheryl and Kathy came with their snorkels and goggles on.
Nominations: President-Cheryl Schmidt and Peggy-Secretary
There is a little changing of the jobs, Peggy's going to web master too, and get the mail and continue with the
surnames and membership lists.
Peggy had all the officers, nominees, write out a little biography.
Next meeting at the Perry's. No meeting in December
Peggy did a report on the Cornish Fest that she was a speaker at.
