Present-Mark and Peggy Perry, Dawn Phelan, Kathy Stoltz and Cheryl Schmidt

First things first. EAT! We had a feast. Hot dogs, chips and dip, soda, and of course, s'mores! Lots of flaming marshmallows!! Supposedly they're better black.

Secretary Report-Motion by Kathy to accept. Seconded by Mark.

Treasurer's Report-Our funds are down from last year. This year we have newsletter printing costs. Previously were donated by an anonymous party. Motion by Dawn. Seconded by Kathy.

The next meeting is October 16 at Dawn Phelan's house, hot tub party. Dawn lives in Dodgeville.

The November meeting may be held at Mark and Peggy's nostalgia room.

Our sunshine committee has been busy. Kathy is our sunshine person, sending out cards and prayers to our members who are sick or have loss. We had 4 this month. Get well to Eileen Arndt. She fell of one of her horses hurting her back. Prayers and well wishes to the others that had a rough month.

To Work!! Peggy had all the newsletters stacked around the room that needed hole punching and filing. We receive many other Society's newsletters which can be a valuable source of genealogical information. We were to all bring a 3 hole punch but Dawn was the only one so...Kathy got punching, Dawn and Cheryl chronologically sorted and Peggy put in folders. We had little dots all over the building but we got the job done.

We didn't find any bats inside. We heard several and found one outside. A disappointment for some of us, especially Dawn.
