ICGS June 2002 Meeting Summary
June 19, 2002 - Perry House, Dodgeville
Mark and Peggy Perry, Dawn Phelan, Kathy Stoltz and Cheryl Schmidt
Treasurer's Report.
Secretary's Report: Some corrections to last months minutes. The Dodgeville Library has Vol. 2 of the Territorial
Papers, not the society. One of the FAQ (frequently asked questions) pages will be on census holdings. Several
others. Dawn made motion to approve minutes as corrected; Kathy seconded.
It's summertime so it's hard to proceed with all the projects that we have on the burner.
The 2002 Membership book will be out within the next couple of days along with the June newsletter. We will be
having the survey in the newsletter on written or internet newsletter.
Discussion on the next few meetings. The July 17th meeting will be at Cheryl's house, pool party. The August meeting
will be at Eileen Ardnt's house, Stud Party. Eileen raises horses. Take a left at Weiland's cheese factory at Y
when coming from Dodgeville and it's the second place on the left.
Slow meeting. We discussed covenants, gardening, especially petunias. Took a house tour of Mark and Peggy's house
which was built in 1896 and they have been doing a lot of remodeling. Looks very nice and as all homeowners know,
you're never finished. Dawn handed off the last of her probate records. Cheryl and Kathy are faster at it and Dawn
is busy with research work. Dawn, Eileen and Peggy do most of our research work. Thank you ladies!
