Discussion
was held on the carryover money due to non-printing and mailing of newsletters.
Mark will write something up for the newsletter.
Email
messages: Cheryl has started her "canned text" file. She states that she is
having some success with this method.
Projects:
- Library - 2
new additions
- Moscow book
- Dawn dropped off the OCR CD of the book. It's not in any shape to be printed
yet, as we thought. Lots of OCR cleanup to be done yet.
- Resource manual

- Cheryl sent a letter to Mr. Richard Heimerl, chairman of the county board.
She is waiting for his response yet.
- Publication
printing - Old requests have now been sent. We're current again!
- Junior membership:
We defined this membership as anyone high school aged or younger. The cost
is $5.00
- Boy Scout merit
badge: We will work with them on where to do research. We'll start with a
30-45 minute overview and 1:1 sessions afterwards for them to ask specific
questions that relate to their research.
- The publicity
work was divided out. Mark and Peggy will work on display boards for area
places. Cheryl will contact the Shoe Box to find out about grilling
out at their store and Kathy is working on getting the notices in the newspapers
and local radio stations.
