Projects:

Old business: WSGS Leadership workshop. Quite a bit of time was spent on this portion of the meeting. We wanted to find some goals to strive towards for the upcoming year. Our list includes:

  1. Technology
Read our email more often, hopefully at least once a week. Cheryl sites that a lot of the messages ask the same thing over and over again. She will create some “canned” text for answering these. Doing so will help alleviate the time that it takes to write out the same thing time after time.
  2. Membership
    1. Offer a Junior membership in correlation with genealogy merit badges for Scouting
    2. Publicitiy
      1. Put up more posters in neighboring communities, get notice put in newspaper again, do some public display boards
  3. Libraries
Offer a computer lab for the public at the library
  4. Programs
Offer more of them. It’s been a few years now since our last seminar was held
  5. Fundraising
    1. Maybe a brat fest at the Shoe Box in Black Earth
    2. Attend Farmers Markets (brat stand there as well)
    3. Hold garage sales

Officer Nominations: Everyone nominated for the current office held, with the exception of Dawn. There was no nomination for the office of Vice-President
