ICGS Meeting Summary November 2004

Projects:

• Library - nothing
• Moscow book - nothing
• Resource manual - nothing
• Funeral cards - nothing
• Cemeteries -
  • Kathy and Cheryl state that Avoca is coming along.
  • Arena's cemetery was discussed. The history group is planning on reading this cemetery and Kathy/ Cheryl will see about the possibility of having a copy of the book donated to us.
  • The topic of donating money towards broken stones was also discussed. Decided to table that discussion until it was closer to the event and see how much money would be needed and how our treasury looks at that time.
• Probate - Cheryl was in contact with Tari Engels of the Probate office of Iowa County on Nov 10. ICGS obtaining a copy of the book and the copying fees are being discussed by the Corporate Counsel of Iowa County. She will get back to Cheryl once a determination has been made.
• Research - one here that Dawn is working on. Have heard that there are more to come.
• New Business:
  • All present officers were re-elected for the new year
  • Bylaw revision on holding meetings on the odd months of the year was passed.
