ICGS Meeting Summary September 2004

Projects:

• Library - Kathy forgot to bring her recent book purchases
• Moscow book - nothing
• Resource manual - nothing
• Funeral cards - Cheryl is going to the Mazomanie funeral home tomorrow, will check with them
• Cemeteries - nothing
• Probate - Cheryl did not contact Tari, will do so
• Research - lots of requests for Eileen
• Goals: Cheryl will contact Shoe Box and Dodgeville Walmart to see about food stands
• Old Business: WSGS Seminar is Oct 16 at the Alliant Center in Madison
• New Business:
  • Mt Horeb library will be offering computer classes, 1 in genealogy. Kathy to bring further info next month and get information in the newsletter.
  • Arena Historians planning an event at Tower Hill Park for June 5, 2005. Pioneer era with period food, dress, shot tower and other events. Should find out if ICGS could have a booth there.

Next month's meeting will be October 20 at Dodgeville City Hall.
